WoW Upgrades - The item upgrade Upgrader

Upgrades provide a guaranteed boost to specific stats. Each upgrade increases item level by +3. A random substat is also increased with each upgrade.

Upgraded gear generally sees greater value for trade, unless it has inherently low requirements (like the FB shield of the sorc) or has a high stat variation (like Eth titan weapons). Upgrades are less useful for the latter due to the need to roll an exact version.

Recycle Points

The item upgrader lets players upgrade their gear by offering the currency to an NPC. Upgrades can be made on any type of armor or weapons. However, the item that is used for the upgrade will be consumed forever and cannot be used again. Upgrades can be applied to Enchantments.

The upgrader is located in all major cities, and can be visited anytime to upgrade your equipment. To keep your gear up-to-date, it is recommended that you visit the upgrader every few weeks.

Upgrades will cost more depending on the level of the item upgrading, but they will always be cheaper than buying new gear. For example upgrading a Benthic chest piece to ilvl 385 will cost 20 recycle points purchasing a similar piece from a different player will cost 105.

Valorstones

Upgrades are useful items that are used to improve the quality of weapons and tools, armor and other accessories. They can be purchased by players from NPCs of item upgraders for various currencies. They can also find them on random treasure lists. Once purchased, an upgrade is able to be applied to any weapon, tool, or armor. The button will display a preview of an item's next upgrade level in the event that there are enough materials.

Upgrade costs differ based on the slot of the item and the current item level. For example weapons are more expensive than gloves, bracers, or bracers. Each upgrade costs 15 Flightstones plus a specific number of crests. Certain upgrades provide a discount on the Flightstones. After an Item Level Upgrade (Morphomics.Science) has been upgraded to a certain level it is able to be degraded and returned to the upgrader for a lesser amount of the two currencies.
