The mopping system itself is capable cleaning a good bit of a space before it has to return to its dock, and the vacuum's extreme suction is capable of removing dirt and pet hair that accumulates on carpets.

The software that runs the appliance is dense, and offers various options to customize the cleaning process. You can clean manually the entire area mapped by this device or choose individual rooms, an expandable zone or a routine you've developed. SmartPlan is one of the mopping options. It uses the sensors on the mops to map the space and determine the most efficient method to clean it.

The Qrevo performed well during our tests, just as all Roborock models that we've test. Its navigation system is reliable it can map rooms quickly and cleaning them in a systematic fashion. Its 'Normal" pathing option covers a room well, without any major gaps or missed areas. Reactive Tech's hazard-avoidance feature works well, but it is not as advanced as color camera systems on the Qrevo Master and the S8 Pro Ultra. It can identify the dangers of carpets that are thick, but it may not always be able to detect smaller items like rug tassels or electrical wires.

The most obvious flaw with this machine is the lack of a mop-after-vacuum option which could be a problem for those who do a lot of vacuuming before cleaning with their robot.
